Typical engagement

Our primary concern is delivering value to your factory as rapidly as possible. To facilitate this, we’ve created a rigorous program management process that clearly lays out implementation milestones and deliverables.

Timeline

Figure 1 summarizes a typical engagement for a production line or cell. Actual schedules will vary based on complexity of your specific manufacturing process, especially the number of product SKUs produced on the line.

The length of preparation before the “Plug in” stage will depend on your current state of digitization. The basic requirement is that we can measure all relevant parameters (sensors in place) and access the measurement signals (PLC in place). More details are available in our self-assessment questionnaire.

Program management

Our program management process clearly spells out the go / no-go gates for an implementation, and what are the criteria for each. There are key deliverables required from both the customer and from Liveline. For example, on the customer side, your IT group must configure plant networks to handle our traffic, based on the network topology and security schema.

Utilization of a professional and battle-tested program management system is a key enabler of how we go fast.
